Mo Zhaosheng (b.1958, 莫肇生) is a member of the China Artists Association and a researcher at the Calligraphy and Painting Institute of the Central Research Institute of Culture and History. He serves as the Vice Chairman of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Artists Union and the Vice President of the Guangdong Chinese Painting Society. Additionally, he is a member of the Chinese Painting Art Committee of the Guangdong Artists Association. Mo holds several distinguished positions, including specially invited director of the Calligraphy and Painting Institute of the Guangdong Provincial Political Consultative Conference, contracted painter at the Guangdong Academy of Painting, and specially appointed painter at the Guangzhou Academy of Painting. He is also a tutor for the advanced calligraphy and painting class at Tsinghua University's Academy of Arts, a specially appointed teacher at the Central Academy of Fine Arts' School of Continuing Education, an external teacher at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts' Chinese Painting College, a part-time professor at Huizhou University, and a visiting professor at Zhuhai College of Art and Career. Mo serves as the Director of the Guangdong Pearl River Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Deputy Director of the Zhaoqing Municipal Political Consultative Conference Calligraphy and Painting Institute, Honorary Chairman of the Zhaoqing Artists Association, President of the Zhaoqing Chinese Painting Society, and is recognized as a senior craft artist. Mo graduated from the Art Department of Zhaoqing Teachers College in Guangdong in 1982. He completed a master's degree course at the Chinese National Academy of Arts in 2001, the Chinese Painting Masters Class at the same academy in 2003, the advanced research class at the Chinese Painting Research Institute's Longrui Studio in 2005, and the Longrui Landscape Painting Research Class at the China National Academy of Painting in 2006.
