Li Hongzhao
About the Artist
Li Hongzhao (b. 1959, 李鴻照), also known as Duan Tang (端堂) and the owner of Kan Yun Lou (看雲樓), is a professor at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts and the director of Shaanxi Wangchuan Painting Academy. He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association. Li graduated from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in 1984 with a bachelor's degree and completed the second term of the Chinese Painting Master Class at the Chinese National Academy of Arts in 2000. From 2004 to 2005, he served as a visiting scholar at the same institution. He began teaching at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in 1984 and has served as the head of the Flower and Bird Painting Department.
