Biography

Wang Fei (born 1959, 王非), styled Jingyin(净因) and nicknamed Xuejushi (穴居士), graduated with a master's degree from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in 1988 and serves as a professor there. From a young age, he devoted himself to the study of painting and calligraphy, focusing intensely on artistic theories and refining his brushwork. He has made significant contributions to the creation of Chinese painting and calligraphy. In his middle years, he deeply immersed himself in studying Buddhism, becoming a disciple of Master Mingxue(明學) at Lingyan Mountain Temple and taking the Buddhist name Renhong(仁洪).
