Description
This is one of the "Album of Landscape Paintings" by the young artist Zhu Fangxiang, depicting the landscape of a deep and secluded gorge. The artist uses light ink and colors to depict the texture and forms of the mountains, rocks, and trees. The robust old trees and towering peaks all present a solemn charm, giving a profound and refined feeling. The inscription "Frost-covered trees by the cliff, clouds shining deep in the valley" cleverly captures the scene in the painting. This work presents a richly textured landscape with an extremely simple technique. This set of "Album of Landscape Paintings" consists of 12 paintings, suitable for art enthusiasts and collectors who appreciate and study classical Chinese landscape paintings.
